Edyta Manys and her handpicked team proudly represented Ireland at a major international permanent makeup festival in Jakarta, Indonesia. From judging international competitions to presenting Edyta’s signature Powder Brows technique, the team showcased Irish talent, professionalism and passion on the global PMU stage.
Representing Ireland on the International Stage
Edyta Manys and her team proudly represented Ireland at one of the biggest international events in the Permanent makeup industry.
In October, Edyta Manys travelled to Jakarta, Indonesia, together with her carefully selected team of exceptionally talented permanent makeup artists, to represent Ireland at Asia’s largest permanent makeup festival.
Bringing together more than 1,000 participants from across the globe, this prestigious international event celebrated talent, creativity, innovation and excellence in the permanent makeup industry.
For the third time, Edyta Manys proudly served as the official Ambassador for Ireland at this remarkable event, continuing to represent the country on an international stage and strengthen Ireland’s presence within the global Permanent makeup community.
International Competitions, Judging and Powder Brows
This year was particularly special, as Edyta was joined by a team of PMU artists whom she personally selected for their exceptional talent, dedication and professional skills. The team had the opportunity to participate in international competitions and take on the prestigious role of judges, evaluating the work of artists from different countries.
Edyta herself also served as a judge, sharing her professional experience and expertise in assessing the incredible talent presented throughout the festival.
One of the highlights of her participation was a live demonstration and presentation of her signature Powder Brows technique. This was a fantastic opportunity to showcase her artistry, demonstrate her approach to permanent makeup and share her knowledge, experience and skills with an international audience of industry professionals.
Celebrating Irish Talent and International Connections
Ireland certainly made its presence felt. Our team proudly displayed the Irish colours, bringing incredible energy, passion and a strong sense of national pride to the event.
It was an unforgettable experience to see the Irish flag among representatives from so many countries around the world, particularly across Asia, including Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Korea, Thailand and Japan. Being able to stand alongside such a diverse international community and showcase the talent and professionalism of Irish artists was a truly special moment.
For Edyta Manys and her team, this was about much more than attending a festival. It was about representing Ireland, building international connections, exchanging knowledge, celebrating women’s achievements in the beauty industry and demonstrating that Irish talent deserves recognition on the world stage.
Looking Ahead to the Next Festival
And this is certainly not the end of the journey.
As the festival takes place every two years, we are already looking forward to returning in two years’ time, stronger, more experienced and ready to represent Ireland once again.
We are incredibly proud of what our team has achieved and grateful for the opportunity to carry the Irish flag onto such an important international platform.
Ireland was there. Ireland was represented. And Ireland was seen.
